Heavy jet operator strengthens its engagement in the Russian market.

Moscow, Klagenfurt, 15.09.2011. Europ-Star Aircraft GmbH, one of the premier providers of business aviation services in Europe, announced it’s entry into the Russian market during the 6th international Business Aviation Jet Expo in Moscow. Europ-Star Aircraft has been successfully operating in the European market for the past ten years with a fleet of aircraft belonging to Ralf Schumacher and Werner Welz, and looks forward to offering its services and expertise in the of acquisition and management of executive aircraft, as well as executive aircraft charter services, jet sharing, and much more, now especially targeted toward the Russian market.

Ralf Schumacher: from client to investment partner

One of the most prominent clients of Europ-Star for many years has been Ralf Schumacher. The former Formula 1 and currently successful DTM automobile racing pilot has trusted in the know how, the experience and the service of Europ-Star with the management of his own personal aircraft. Recently Mr. Schumacher also became investor and partner in the operation. He recently commented „since I have come to know the operation as well as the industry well in the past six years, I have decided to become an investor in Europ-Star. Since September of this year, I have purchased a 10% stake in Europ-Star with the option to expand my ownership share in the company. The reason for this step is easy to explain; the branch of business aviation has great potential, especially in the growing markets of Russia and Asia. Business aviation means flexibility, comfort, and time savings, and therefore an increase in the quality of life. Especially in the segment of the population which is financially well situated, this factor is becoming increasingly apparent in it’s significance“.

Europ-Star opens a new base in Riga

With the establishment of a new base of operations in Riga, Europ-Star Aircraft GmbH will be able to better accommodate and serve is growing list of Russian speaking clients.

Mr. Leonid Grodnitski and his team of Russian speaking colleagues stand ready at the Riga Latvia base as liaisons and Client service representatives.
